Cristian Justribó Manion’s professional career began in 2008, when the Centro Médico Terapéutico y de Enfermedades Osteoarticulares (CMT) was founded, a family project he set up together with his father, Dr Carlos Justribó Berlanga, an orthopaedic surgeon.

CMT began as a general centre for people with musculoskeletal problems. This setting allowed Cristian to develop his first years of clinical practice and to gain experience in managing a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Over the years, his career moved towards specialisation in the craniofacial field, particularly orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders, headaches and persistent pain. This development has been supported by specialised academic training, with three university master’s degrees, two of them specifically related to orofacial pain and craniofacial rehabilitation. It is now being completed with his doctoral thesis, focused on persistent painful temporomandibular disorders, their comorbidities and the response to physiotherapy treatment, and it has been consolidated through clinical work, research, university teaching and science communication.

CJM was founded in 2026 as a new, independent project, created by Cristian Justribó Manion and distinct from CMT in its identity, its approach and its field of specialisation. It is not a change of name or a continuation of the previous centre, but the start of a new professional stage built on the experience gained over almost two decades.

CJM keeps the values that have accompanied Cristian throughout his career, such as closeness, individualised care and commitment to the patient, and adds a strongly specialised, interdisciplinary orientation informed by scientific evidence.

The project was born with the aim of bringing together clinical care, research, teaching and outreach, and of growing step by step with professionals who share this way of understanding physiotherapy.
